As a not-for-profit organization focused on education, FAVE does not endorse candidates for public office. But in key races, we want you to know the candidates' position on gun safety regulations before you vote.

We urge you to VOTE on November 8.

Please educate family and friends and urge them to VOTE on November 8.

Candidates for President:

Hillary Clinton (D):

  • Supports strengthening the background check system
  • Supports closing the gun show and internet sales loopholes
  • Believes weapons of war have no place on our streets

Donald Trump (R):

  • Opposes expanding background check laws
  • Opposes a ban on assault weapons or large capacity magazines
  • Favors a universal concealed carry permit valid in all 50 states.
